In Memory of my son Cortney Jamal Edkline. October 22, 2016, I lost my only son to Renal Cancer, he was 28 years old.  We found out he was at Stage 4 three weeks prior to his passing. Of course, I was totally in denial. In my heart, I knew he was going to get better and beat it.  Unfortunately, that was not the case. It was a major hit for our family as a whole.  Him & his sister grew up very close to their cousins, so his loss impacted them tremendously.  They hashtag #28Forever on social media to pay homage to him leaving us at the young age of 28 & saying he'll be in our hearts Forever.
